Jacks is a home services marketplace, live today in Victoria, BC and coming soon to Kelowna.
Who are we?
Jacks was founded by two business students from Victoria, Nolan Hupp and Adam Vincent.
While working in marine and home services, we became aware of two problems. The first being that homeowners struggle to find reliable help for small jobs. The second being that skilled individuals want more work, but struggle to find it. We began by manually connecting the two, and have now built a platform to facilitate the connections directly, live today in Victoria and coming soon to Kelowna.

To make it simple for anyone to find trusted local help and for skilled individuals to offer their services independently and on their own terms.

Why "Jacks"?
The name comes from the phrase "Jack of all trades", skilled individuals who can tackle a variety of tasks. Every Jack brings their unique expertise to help you get things done, no matter how big or small the job.
How It Works
Jacks is a two-sided marketplace. Job posters describe what they need done and set a budget. Jacks, our approved independent tradespeople, browse available jobs, submit applications with their proposed rates, and get hired. Communication, job tracking, and reviews all happen within the platform.
Every Jack goes through an application process and must provide proof of liability insurance before they can accept work, so you can feel confident in the person showing up at your door.
